This natural gas fire pit project in White Rock was a pleasure to build—mostly because we had the opportunity to work with such beautiful stone!

When installing a natural gas fire pit or fireplace, make sure you have a permit and a certified gas fitter to do the job correctly and safely. After digging a 3' ditch to install a gas line that linked to the house and BBQ, we built a 2.5' square pit with remote controlled ignition switch. 

The steps and retaining wall leading up to the backyard we built with Allan Block - Europa Series. Each of these beautiful slab benches that line the natural gas fire pit weigh over 1,500 lbs. They are Ocean Pearl Wallstone from K2 Stone, another great product that we loved working with. The dry stack wall lining the garden is also Ocean Pearl. Underneath the benches is black polished rock from China, as well as eco-friendly LED outdoor lighting.
