The Barkers had a set of stairs in their backyard, and they wanted pondless streams on either side. The situation was challenging because the foundation underneath was built on large boulders, and sat against a retaining wall made up of 500-1,000 lb rocks. We had to get creative with our design!

When we were finished, we had two beautiful brooks that framed the stairs. The sound of the running water can be heard from anywhere on their property, including from the putting green out front. It attracts birds and is the perfect ambience for dinner parties.
